Call for WCC Board Candidates
WCC is seeking enthused and energetic residents who want to make a difference in our neighborhood through serving on its Board of Directors.
WCC, your neighborhood association, is tasked with representing over 5,000 Windom residents. It has the distinguished responsibility of helping to safeguard a high quality of life for our Windom residents and the prosperity of our local businesses.
The WCC is looking to appoint 3 Windom residents to 3 Board vacancies. If you are interested in serving and have any questions, please email us at windomcommunity@gmail.com or call 612-532-9710 to speak directly to a Board member.
Criteria for Consideration:
1. Attend the WCC Monthly Board Meetings on Thursday, December 12, 2024 & Thursday, January 9, 2025, which are held from 7 pm – 8:30 pm in person at 5843 Wentworth Avenue (Windom South Park) and via ZOOM.
2. Participate in a WCC Committee during the months of December 2024 & January 2025.
Appointments will be made on February 13, 2025, at the Monthly Board Meeting.
Volunteer Monthly Time Commitment:
We anticipate a volunteer time commitment each month of 4-5 hours which includes the Board’s monthly meetings, WCC’s committee meetings and participation in WCC sponsored events.
